Refund policy

There are 4 simple steps to complete the return process for one or more products purchased on our e-commerce site:

1. Notification of your intention to withdraw
Within 14 days of receiving the product, we ask you to notify us of your intention to withdraw from the contract by sending us, within the same period, a written and explicit declaration of your intention to return the purchased item (this declaration must include the order number, product name, reason for return, billing details, and the desired collection point).

2. Preparation for shipping
We then ask you to prepare the item for shipping within 14 business days, taking care to protect it appropriately and package it in its original packaging.

3. Delivery to the courier
At this point, you have two options:
1. Recommended. Choose the courier used by Molaroni 1880: simply attach a copy of the Withdrawal Form or Written Declaration you completed to the package. We will then arrange for the courier to collect the goods from the address you provided. Collection will take place within 14 days of your notification of withdrawal. This procedure eliminates the risk of loss or damage to the product during shipping, but you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
2. Choose a different courier: you will then independently arrange the collection and preparation of the necessary shipping documents with the carrier. By following this procedure, you will be responsible for the risk of loss or damage to the product until the package is delivered to our headquarters, but you will not be charged.

4. Verification and Refund
Once we receive the item, we will verify that it has not been damaged due to any causes attributable to you. After this check, we will promptly refund your costs (the price of the item including VAT, shipping costs, if applicable, and any other additional costs resulting from the order. If the order contains multiple items and only some of them are returned, any shipping costs will not be refunded). We will retain the amount of the returned goods (if returned using the courier provided by us) according to the following rule:
– for Orders, excluding shipping costs, with a value up to €150, a €20 retention;
– for Orders, excluding shipping costs, with a value between €150 and €1,000, a €28 retention;
– for Orders, excluding shipping costs, with a value greater than €1,000, a €50 retention.
The amount will be refunded using the same payment method and with the same value date as used for the initial payment.

Please note that you can consult the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL REGULATIONS

Consumer Right of Withdrawal in E-commerce Contracts:
– The consumer has a 14-day period to withdraw from a distance contract, without having to provide any reason and without incurring any costs, except for the direct cost of returning the goods (delivery costs).
– The 14-day period begins on the day the consumer acquires physical possession of the goods (or the last item in the case of a multiple order).
– Within the applicable deadline, the consumer must inform the seller of their decision to exercise the right of withdrawal from the contract, using a specific form or by submitting any other explicit statement of their decision. The burden of proof relating to the exercise of the right of withdrawal lies with the consumer.
– Exercising the right of withdrawal terminates all contractual obligations of the parties. The seller shall reimburse the consumer for all payments received without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day on which the consumer informed him of his decision to withdraw, using the same payment method used by the consumer for the initial payment.
– With regard to contracts for the sale of goods, the seller may withhold reimbursement until the goods covered by the contract have been received.
– The consumer must return or deliver the goods to the seller or its representative without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the date on which he communicated his decision to withdraw from the contract. The consumer shall bear only the direct cost of returning the goods.
– The consumer is solely responsible for any decrease in the value of the good resulting from handling of the good other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the good itself.
– The right of withdrawal is excluded in relation to contracts for the supply of ad hoc or customized goods.
