The Molaroni shop

Founded in Pesaro in 1880, the Molaroni factory still operates today in its historic premises, proudly preserving its deep connection with the majolica tradition.

From its origins, the workshop developed a distinctive formal language, based on entirely manual workmanship and a decorative repertoire that, over time, expanded thanks to the contribution of master modelers and painters.

The continuity of production through generations has made it possible to preserve consolidated artisanal techniques — shaping, modeling, glazing, and decorating — as well as a valuable archive of forms and motifs that tells the stylistic evolution of the factory.

Throughout the twentieth century and up to the present day, Molaroni has participated in numerous exhibitions and reviews dedicated to Italian artistic ceramics, achieving recognition that has confirmed its quality and aesthetic consistency.

This layered history continues to be clearly reflected in current production, which includes vases, amphorae, plates, centerpieces, lamps, jewelry boxes and study objects, all strictly handmade.

Among the oldest ceramic manufacturers in Italy and the world, Molaroni continues today to combine craftsmanship and formal research, keeping a more than centennial tradition alive and renewing it through the daily work of its workshop
